Dirty Boy
"Take the back alley. Real smart plan, Anna. Of course you get yourself lost chasing the goddamn perp." Muttering and cursing, Anna skidded around the corner and came to a sharp halt when she saw the sedan parked on the side of the road. Angell had their perp in cuffs and was shoving him in the back of the car.

"You're a little late to the party, Morasca." Angell quipped as she shut the car door and smirked.

Anna sighed, shoulders slumping as she nodded. "I love suburbia. Where's Flack?"

"Right over here." The low grumble came from behind them, and both women turned to see Flack completely covered in mud. A scowl marred his boyish face and mud hid the usual luster of his icy baby blues, fists clenched at his sides as he fumed.

Anna and Angell exchanged glances before the shorter of the brunette detectives cracked a smirk, while the other doubled over laughing.

Incredibly unhappy about landing his ass in a giant mud puddle because of a perp, Flack glared at the women and muttered under his breath. Eyes brimming with tears from laughing so hard, Anna stepped to the edge of the puddle and burst out laughing once more. "I can't... believe you— puddle? Oh my god..." Anna clutched her sides as her entire body shook with laughter.

"Ha, ha, ha. Laugh it up, Anna." Flack pouted slightly, muttering and grumbling as he glanced at Angell. "Take him to the precinct, Jess. I gotta go grab a shower and piss off my drycleaner."

Angell just nodded and chuckled, getting into the sedan and driving off with their perp. Anna, however, crouched so she was eye-level with Flack and snickered. "Let's get you out of the mud, bello."

When Anna extended a hand, Flack decided it was payback for all the laughing she'd done at his expense. Grasping her hand firmly, he tugged on her arm, pulling her into the mud with him. When Anna sat up sputtering she gasped and gave Flack's chest a hard shove. "Don! Damnit, now I need a shower and a dry cleaner."

Flack smirked and stood up in the mud, helping Anna to her feet and brushing some hair from her face. "We both need a shower, and you're complainin'?"

Anna paused briefly until the realization struck her. "Oh. Ohh." Her lips curled into a devious grin as she grabbed him by the shirt, tugging him close. "You dirty, dirty boy..."

In response, Flack just grinned and slipped his arms around her waist. "It was an accident. You're pretty light..."

"Uh huh, sure. Liar." Anna threw her head back and laughed, draping her arms around his neck and smirking when Flack leaned in to capture her lips in a long, deep kiss. "We really need to go mudding more often."

I should've titled it "when plotbunnies attack Bri in the car on the drive home from school". Lol. Couldn't have happened at a better time. I'm really glad that you like it! They need some adorable in their life.
